If you are more than 18 years old, weigh more than 40 kg, and your height is above 145 cm, you suffer from positional sleep apnea and/or snoring, Somnibel is the therapy for you.
Will I need to use Somnibel for the rest of my life?
Somnibel has been designed to help the user correct their position gradually, with the aim of re-educating their body position without having to use it: this may vary from patient to patient.
Somnibel emits vibrations so that I can change position, are they harmful to my health?
The vibrations are very soft and do not damage your health in any way. Somnibel is a Class IIA medical device which holds all the necessary accreditations.
Can I travel with Somnibel?
Thanks to its reduced size, Somnibel can be easily transported, so you can use it when you travel. We recommend taking the packaging when transporting it.

Will the vibrations wake me up?
Somnibel applies a mild gradual vibratory stimulus and adapts to every user through its 4 intensity levels. It does not trigger sleep fragmentation.
Does Somnibel start working as soon as I put it on?
The device starts working 15 minutes after switching it on. That will give you time to fall asleep in your preferred position.
Will my Somnibel vibrate if I get up during the night?
When the device detects the upright position and then afterwards any another position, it waits for 5 minutes before applying a new stimulus so that you can go back to sleep comfortably.
Will Somnibel be uncomfortable on my forehead?
Somnibel only weighs 17 g and has been designed not to be noticed.
How do I know if my Somnibel is operating normally?
Somnibel has visual indicators to help you know how your device is operating.
When the device is functioning correctly, there is a green light flashing every 10 seconds. All visual indicators are detailed in the manual (see page 14).
Will the light from Somnibel disturb me?
The Somnibel light has very low intensity, and has been designed so that it does not disturb you or your partner.

How do I know if my Somnibel is charging?
When you connect it to the mains, the green light comes on. When it goes off, this means that the device is fully charged.
What is the battery life of Somnibel?
Somnibel has a battery life of >3 nights; 10 h per night. We recommend charging it every day to prevent the battery from running out.
How do I know if my Somnibel needs charging?
A yellow light flashing every 2 seconds indicates that your Somnibel battery is low and that it needs charging.
Adhesive
Is the Somnibel adhesive suitable for all skin types?
Yes, the adhesive is hypoallergenic and has been tested and proven on numerous patients.
How do I know if the adhesive is attached properly?
The adhesive attaches easily to the Somnibel; however, if it is not properly attached to the device, a green and yellow light will flash every 0.5 seconds. This will indicate that you should reapply the adhesive.
Maintenance and After-Sales Service
How should I clean my Somnibel?
Clean your Somnibel and its battery charger softly with a cloth moistened in soapy water (neutral soap) or 96º surgical spirit. Then, proceed to dry it.
Can Somnibel get wet?
No. Internal parts and contacts must never make contact with liquids.
What should I do if my Somnibel malfunctions or stops working?

Somnibel Pro will warn you when its signal recording memory is nearly full, and when it is completely full. When there is only enough memory left for 3 nights recording, the device will emit a warning with a yellow light flashing every second. Once the recording memory is completely full, the yellow light will flash every 10 seconds.

How does Somnibel Pro connect to a PC?
Somnibel Pro connects to a PC using the USB cable included. Use it to connect the device; it will be automatically detected and you will be able to configure it easily.
How is data downloaded into SomniLab?
Click the download wizard icon on the bottom right:

How can the Somnibel Pro memory be emptied?
After completing the data download, the wizard will ask you if you want to erase the Somnibel Pro memory; you can erase it then or later, by accessing the device configuration window, click on the cogwheel icon on the right-hand side of the screen

How do I set the time in SomniLab?
Every time you connect your Somnibel Pro to SomniLab, the date and time are self-configured, so that they are always correct. You can also configure them manually from the device’s configuration menu

It is important that your patient charges the device regularly, to prevent the battery from running out and not lose the time and date settings. However, if this happens, you can configure each log manually.
